Dodson and Associates, P.C.

Rocco A. Dodson founded the firm in January 1998. Prior to that he practiced for seventeen years with the Denver firm of Fairfield and Woods, P.C., including ten years as a director and shareholder. He also served as a director and shareholder with Rees & Dodson, P.C., for approximately one year. He is listed in the Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers and the Insurance Law List, and has received the highest rating ("AV") from the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory for excellent legal ability and very high ethical standards.
He received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Denver College of Law, where he graduated in 1981 with academic honors. He has over twenty years of experience in complex insurance, commercial, real estate, lending, construction and contract litigation in state and federal trial and appellate courts, and before administrative hearing boards and private arbitrators.

Anne Murphy received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Colorado School of Law in 1990. After graduation she served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Connie L. Peterson, Judge of the Denver District Court. From 1992-1997 she worked as an associate in the commercial litigation department of the Denver firm of Brownstein Hyatt & Farber, P.C. At Brownstein she assisted or managed all aspects of numerous civil cases, including trial work, administrative hearings and writing state court, federal and appellate legal briefs for complex commercial litigation cases. She has assisted Dodson and Associates, P.C., in all facets of its litigation practice since 1998.

Gillian Cooley Morrison received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Denver College of Law in 1993. She served as a law clerk to the Honorable Richard D. Turelli, Judge of the 18th Judicial District in 1991-1992. Her experience in insurance defense and commercial litigation began immediately out of law school as an associate with the Denver law firm of Burg & Eldredge, P.C. She then worked in Vail, Colorado, primarily practicing in the areas of civil litigation, including commercial and construction litigation, and real estate. She began working with Dodson and Associates, P.C., in 2001.
